On September 14, 2023, the Junior League of Columbia participated in the first annual Find the Good Day, a campaign established by the Associations of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). The campaign focuses on kindness, respect, and understanding the importance of “finding the good” in every single day. Partnering with Kendra Scott in Columbia, the League established its own collection with Kendra Scott donating a set from the collection to be auctioned off at a recent General Membership Meeting. In total, members raised $2,424.46; with Kendra Scott matching funds for a total raised of $4,848.46. With such figures in mind, “The Junior League of Columbia came in second place for top giveback of all Junior Leagues in the United States who participated in the shopping partnership with Kendra Scott on Find the Good Day!”

The Junior League of Columbia wants to specifically acknowledge Sustainer Chairs, Melissa Gentry and Auralee Tunmore; both members played a key role in the success of this event and their efforts should not go unnoticed. The League also wants to acknowledge Kendra Scott’s Columbia store Manager, Vickie Nguyen. Vickie was incredible to work with and made the organization of the event seem effortless.
