Junior Volunteers

The Junior League of Columbia’s Junior Volunteers program promotes voluntarism among youth in the community. The goal of Junior Volunteers is to teach young people the importance of volunteering in their community and to better the lives of others as well as themselves. Junior Volunteers is a program created for girls in grades 7th to 12th who are interested in making a difference around Columbia.

After a successful year, the Junior Volunteers Committee is looking forward to the 2022–2023 League year! We have an AWESOME year planned with MORE hands-on projects, as well as fun events for the Junior Volunteers to attend.

All Junior Volunteers will receive a calendar with the year’s events and a certificate indicating logged volunteer hours presented in May. Keep in mind that these service hours can be used toward school service hour requirements. Junior Volunteers will also have the opportunity to attend and be recognized at a General Membership Meeting during the year.

We are excited about meeting our new Juniors Volunteers and look forward to a wonderful year ahead. We hope you will encourage a young lady you know to make volunteering a part of her life! You can never be too young to start volunteering while making new friends and working toward the goal to make a difference for others.
