2013-2014 League Year: Throughout the year, JLC members logged approximately 47,469 volunteer hours and invested $147,900 back into the Midlands community.
American Advertising Federation of the Midlands: This year, the JLC presented the AAF with the Friend of the League Award to recognize their outstanding contributions to the JLC and its focus.
Legislative Day: During the JLC's first State House Legislative Day, members met with local politicians to discuss our mission and focus on improving the health and well-being of children in the Midlands.
Public Affairs Team: The JLC Public Affairs Team educates members about the importance of advocacy and how to effectively channel passion for an issue into effective change.
Healthy Kids Fun Fair: For the past three years, the JLC has hosted the Healthy Kids Fun Fair, a free family event, featuring fun learning about healthy eating, exercising, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Each year, the JLC assists local non-profit organizations on small, Done in a Day projects through hands-on volunteer work.
The Junior League of Columbia, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Community Assistance Funds. Each year, the JLC designates a portion of its budget to help address the short-term critical needs of not-for-profit organizations. For more information, see the Community Assistance Funds Application.
Community Enrichment Grant Program. Organizations with projects that are related to the JLC's mission and focus area are encouraged to apply for a grant of $5,000 or more. For more information, see the Community Enrichment Grant Program RFP.
