Fun with Fitness: The Healthy Kids in Transition Committee focuses on long-term impact with community partners, helping children become healthier through a balanced diet and physical fitness.
JLC Legislative Day: Our Public Affairs Team held the JLC's first "State House Day" this past spring where they presented information about our organization to the SC General Assembly Women's Caucus.
Community Partners: Last year, the JLC partnered with nine Richland School District One schools and twenty diverse nonprofit organizations and social service agencies throughout the Midlands.
Each year, the JLC assists local non-profit organizations on small, Done in a Day projects through hands-on volunteer work.
The Junior League of Columbia, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of Columbia's Corporate Sponsors' financial support allows us to directly serve those in need in our community. We are truly grateful for their continued generosity and would like to give a special thanks to our League Leaders:
Junior League women make things happen—they form strategic partnerships, create innovative programs, and raise funds for important community initiatives. They are able to do this because of the skills and experience they obtain through membership.
