The Junior League of Columbia’s Book Club Affinity Group: Connecting Over a Love of Reading

posted on

The Junior League of Columbia hosts several affinity groups to help connect members who share common interests or identities. One of these affinity groups focuses on the love of reading.

The Book Club Affinity Group meets several times a year and is open to any Junior League member interested in reading and engaging in meaningful conversations about books. The Book Club has become a popular Leauge gathering, attracting a diverse group of women who all share a love of books. The meetings are held at various locations throughout Columbia, adding to the ambiance and diversity of the discussions.

In January, the group met at Lighthouse Cafe over coffee and tea to discuss a domestic thriller – The Younger Wife, by author Sally Hepworth. In April, the group will read Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan. Registration for April’s meeting will begin March 23 at 6pm and is limited to the first 20 people. The meeting will be held April 13 from 6-8pm.
