Media Buy Services

June 15, 2022

The purpose of the media campaign (digital and traditional) is to raise awareness of the Junior League of Columbia and to promote fundraisers and programs related to the JLC. In particular, the campaign will focus on:

  • Holiday Market
    • Holiday Market is the League’s largest fundraiser, held the first week of December (Wednesday-Sunday) at the SC State Fairgrounds. Holiday Market showcases 150+ vendors from across the nation and has over 10,000 shoppers. Emphasis should be made on not only the event, but what dollars raised through Holiday Market support –the League’s numerous community programs.
  • Spring League Fundraisers
    • While the League is still working on what the spring 2023 fundraiser will entail, the League anticipates it being a family-friendly event for the community in march or April.

Duration of Campaign

The duration of the media campaign is July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, yet the League year runs June 1, 2022 through May 31, 2023. While there wouldn’t be any changes to this contract in that month overlap, there may be multiple people you’re communicating with during that month as the League transitions its leadership.

  • June 15, 2022 RFP opens
  • June 29, 2022 RFP response deadline (5 p.m.)
  • July 8, 2022 Notification of finalists

  • TOTAL                                                  $16,000*
*To include all fees associated with the media buying campaign, including buyer’s commission.

Special Notes

The media buying agency will work most closely with Junior League liaisons and, at times, the Vice President and Vice President-Elect for Communications. The agency and liaison will also need to work closely with marketing chairs for each event/program for specific needs and placement, as well as Fund Development for in-kind media sponsorships.

The agency will have a one-year contract with the Junior League of Columbia, Inc.

Please note: the agency may work with more than one liaison for different events during the contract period.
