JLC AT LARGE DIRECTOR, EMILY BEDENBAUGH, NAMED CHAIRWOMAN

Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, standingThe Salvation Army of the Midlands announced yesterday the new chairwoman of the 2019-2020 Advisory Board, Junior League of Columbia At Large Director Emily Bedenbaugh.

“The Salvation Army is so blessed to have Emily serving as chairwoman of the advisory board. She consistently exemplifies her giving spirit and will provide wonderful leadership in this role,” said Major Henry Morris.

Emily was installed as a Salvation Army board member in 2012. A 12 year JLC member, Emily has served in many placements throughout the League, including: Vice President for Communications, Public Affairs chair, Community Research & Project Development chair, Fund Development chair, and more.

Congratulations, Emily! JLC is proud to have members serving in leadership roles throughout the Midlands.

Emily is a wonderful example of members living out the JLC mission of “promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.”
