First JLC General Membership Meeting of the Year

Directors at Large, Emily Bedenbaugh and Rania Jamison, recognized League “MVPs” on the first base dugout. These members were recognized for daring greatly and making an impact this year in the League.

On Thursday, Sept. 6, the Junior League of Columbia hosted its first General Membership Meeting at Spirit Communications Park with over 375 members in attendance. This was the first JLC meeting held at the stadium, and it included an inspirational message from Nephron Pharmaceuticals Owner and CEO, Lou Kennedy, on “Daring Greatly.” Highlights from the meeting included the unveiling of the new Holiday Market logo, an introduction and overview of the newly-established JLC mentoring program, and an update from our At Large Directors Rania Jamison and Emily Bedenbaugh. The following League leaders were recognized for their service as League MVPs by the At Large Directors: Ella Priddy (Back to School Bash Chair), Lee Patterson (Community Impact Grant Advisement Chair), Taylor Morris (League Graphic Designer), Amber Gadow (New Member Co-Chair), Casey Pash (New Member Co-Chair), Nicki Hood (Membership Meeting Planning Chair), Monique Flowers (Membership Meeting Planning Chair), Page Hilton (League Attorney), Laura Reid (Mentoring Committee Chair), Elizabeth Simmons (Handbook Chair), Meghan Bailey (Fund Development Chair).
