Junior League of Columbia Flood Relief

The Junior League of Columbia, Inc. is over 1,500 members strong and we stand united with our community and are committed to improving the health and well-being of families. Our concerned friends and family locally and nationally have all asked "how can we help?" During the months of October and November the JLC accepted thousands of toiletries, cleaning supplies, boxes and personal hygiene items that were all brought to our distribution site donated by Edens. We were able to partner with many shelters, churches, nonprofits, schools and other organizations in need while at the same time helping many of our own members who lost their homes during the destructive floods.

While we are no longer accepting these items we will continue to accept monetary donations through early December. We thank everyone for their generosity.

There will be a post on the Junior League social media accounts that can easily be shared. We invite you to share this information on your own social networks to spread the word. Additionally, at this time, a fund is being set up on our website www.jlcolumbia.org. Everything collected will go directly to the victims to help meet their immediate and future needs, while at the same time filling our vision of strengthening the health and well-being of children and families in the Midlands.
